The honest thing about linen: pure linen creases, badly. That's the fibre, not the quality — flax has almost no elastic recovery, so it holds every fold. It's why a beautiful 100% linen dress looks crumpled by lunchtime.
These are cut in viscose linen satin and cotton linen blends instead. You keep what linen is good at — breathability, a dry hand that doesn't cling in heat, natural texture — and lose most of the creasing, because viscose adds drape and recovery that flax doesn't have. It also takes print and dye more richly, which is why the artisan prints here read deeper than they would on pure linen. Designed by Sandhya Garg, Project Runway Season 13, in limited runs, sizes XS through 3XL.
The Marquis Royal Blue Off-Shoulder Maxi is the most-reviewed piece here, with hand-worked floral embroidery on viscose linen satin. The Duchess Red Kaftan has an adjustable waist tie and an exclusive ornamental print — the easiest thing in the collection to wear in real heat. The Louis Halter Midi at $238 shows the fabric's drape best, and the Versailles Pink Shirt Dress is the most versatile: collar, long sleeves, and appropriate almost anywhere. The Paris Pink Linen Dress starts at $158.
Where it works. Summer weddings, garden parties, resort daytime, travel. A viscose linen blend is the better packing choice than pure linen for exactly the reason above — it comes out of a case wearable. For a wedding, a linen-blend maxi in a print reads considered rather than casual, and stays comfortable through an outdoor ceremony.
Care. Wash cold on a gentle cycle or by hand. Tumble dry low or air dry. Press on a medium setting while slightly damp if you want it crisp — but soft, lived-in texture is part of how these fabrics are meant to look, and chasing a completely flat finish is working against the cloth.
Browse by length in maxi, midi and mini dresses, or by style in kaftans, shirt dresses, wrap and floral dresses. By occasion: resort wear, resort casual, vacation, summer, summer wedding guest and plus size resort wear. Also see silk and cruise dresses.

Does a linen dress wrinkle?
Pure 100% linen creases heavily — flax fibre has almost no elastic recovery, so it holds every fold. A viscose linen blend creases far less, because viscose adds drape and recovery while keeping linen's breathability and dry hand. If creasing is your main concern with linen, a blend is the practical answer rather than a compromise.
What is viscose linen satin?
A blend of viscose and linen woven with a satin finish. It keeps linen's breathability and texture while gaining viscose's fluid drape and resistance to creasing, and the satin weave gives a soft sheen that makes printed colour read deeper. It's cooler than a pure synthetic and far more forgiving than pure linen over a long day.
Is linen good for hot weather?
Yes — it's one of the best fibres for heat. Linen is highly breathable, wicks moisture, and has a dry hand that keeps it from clinging to damp skin, unlike jersey or polyester. Blends retain most of that benefit. Loose silhouettes like kaftans and A-line maxis maximise airflow, and lighter colours reflect more heat.
Can you wear a linen dress to a wedding?
Yes, for daytime, garden, beach and destination weddings. A linen-blend maxi or midi in a print or rich colour reads polished rather than casual, particularly with structured accessories. For formal evening weddings, a silk or satin dress is a better fit — linen's texture reads distinctly daytime.
How do you wash a linen dress?
Cold water, gentle cycle or hand wash. Tumble dry on low or air dry — high heat shrinks and weakens linen fibres. Press on medium while slightly damp if you want a crisper finish. Soft texture is characteristic of the fabric rather than a flaw, so there's no need to press it completely flat.
★★★★★Kate CComfy yet feminine!
I got this navy floral dress and love it. It has a bright yet soft look. The material is light and cool making it wearable in warm or cool weather. Very comfortable and feminine feeling. Nice length- not too long or short - and great for dancing! It looked huge at first but fits great once I put it on. Love the boho style too.

★★★★★Ria LI love this dress
I loved this dress, As far as fit goes, the dress fits better on the bottom if you have hips and a butt. I do not fill out the dress well on the bottom, but that’s ok it’s still beautiful. This dress is stunning, I absolutely love it, I bought it for a friends wedding. I got tons of compliments on it! Highly recommend.

This shirt can be worn when you want to dress up or wear as a casual outfit! All you need!
Fabric is light weight and beautiful. Hits just right in length. Beautiful
Absolutely love this top!! So flattering and super comfortable I don’t have to worry about it riding up or anything.
These match perfectly with the stretch wide leg pants that I purchased. Ordered a size small and I’m 5’4, 130lb and the size small is perfect and very flattering!
These pants are so light and comfy- great for summer! I went with a large but easily could have done a medium since the waist is kind of loose. I have big hips though so I like the extra room.
