What actually makes a dress travel well

Three things, and fabric is the first. Cotton poplin holds its structure straight out of a bag and stands away from the body in heat instead of clinging. Scuba knit needs no ironing at all — it is the single best thing you can put in a carry-on. Silk and plisse crease in transit and then drop out in ten minutes on a hanger in a steamy bathroom. What does not recover is a stiff structured fabric with a fused lining; that creases permanently.

Second, a print hides everything. A crease that is obvious across a plain navy dress disappears into a multicolour print, which is the practical reason printed dresses photograph better on holiday — not just the colour.

Third, fold, don't roll. The label runs XS (US 00–0) through 3XL (US 22–24). Because every print is produced in a short run, size availability varies piece by piece rather than being uniform across the collection — the size selector on each product page shows what is actually in stock, and the price shown there is what you pay at checkout. How these are actually made

I would rather tell you the truth than a certification I do not hold. We are not carbon neutral and we hold no third-party sustainability certification. What we do: manufacture against orders in small batches rather than producing large speculative runs, source from local Indian weavers including handloom fabric and fabric recycled from old saris where possible, and print digitally, which uses roughly 60% less water than screen printing. Most of our partner factories are women-owned and employ a majority of women and heritage craftspeople, in long-term relationships rather than transactional ones. No child labour at any point in the chain.
