Italy's Amalfi Coast boasts a classic Mediterranean landscape

A sensual blend of both natural and cultural wonders. The breathtaking terrain includes dramatic coastline topography scattered with terraced vineyards, orchards, and pastures—often with enchanting views of the vibrant waters below. Kind climate, abundant resources, and natural beauty have drawn people to this coast for many centuries, and the Greeks, Romans, Normans, Saracens, Arab-Sicilians, and many others have left their mark. Amalfi communities often cluster along cliffs, their terraces blending into the rock to add their own picturesque charm to the natural beauty of the coast. Upon closer inspection, towns like Amalfi and Ravello are home to many examples of artistic and architectural excellence—not a surprise, since this stretch of the Sorrento Peninsula has long attracted famous artists of all stripes.

Amalfi is a town in a dramatic natural setting below steep cliffs on Italy’s southwest coast. Between the 9th and 11th centuries, it was the seat of a powerful maritime republic. The Arab-Norman Sant'Andrea cathedral at the heart of town, with its striped Byzantine facade, survives from this era. The Museo Arsenale Amalfi is a medieval shipyard-turned-exhibition space.Amalfi coast Italy is made of several small towns- Ravello, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Atrani, Minori. Stand out in the beautiful tourist crown in our scuba dress, bodycon dress, long sleeve dresses, draped jacket perfect for all special events in your life.

The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline on the northern coast of the Salerno Gulf on the Tyrrhenian Sea, located in the Province of Salerno of southern Italy. The town exudes history and culture, most notably in its over-sized Byzantine-influenced cathedral and diminutive Paper Museum. And while the permanent population is now a fairly modest 5000 or so, the numbers swell significantly during summer. Just around the headland, neighboring Atrani is a dense tangle of whitewashed alleys and arches centered on an agreeably lived-in piazza and small scimitar of beach; don’t miss it.

The Amalfi Coast is a popular tourist destination for the region and Italy as a whole, attracting thousands of tourists annually. In 1997, the Amalfi Coast was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Planning a trip to Amalfi?  Find perfect looks for occasions like holiday dresses, summer dress, resort wear and beachwear. Like the rest of the region, the Amalfi Coast lies in a Mediterranean climate, featuring warm summers and mild winters. It is located on the relatively steep southern shore of the Sorrentine Peninsula, leaving little room for rural and agricultural territories. The coast comprises 11,231 hectares between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. The only land route to the Amalfi Coast is the 40 kilometres (25 mi) long Strada Statale 163 which runs along the coastline from the town of Vietri sul Mare in the east to Positano in the west. Thirteen municipalities are located on the Amalfi Coast, many of them centered on tourism. Tourists crowd the beautiful street of Positano in our vacation dress, wedding guest dress, prom dress, party dress, baby shower dress, brunch dress, beach wedding dress, graduation dress, mother of the bride dress and tea party dress. The Amalfi Coast is known for its production of limoncello liqueur as the area is a known cultivator of lemons, known as sfusato amalfitano in Italian, which are grown in terraced gardens along the entire coast between February and October. Amalfi is also a known maker of a hand-made thick paper which is called bambagina. Other renowned local products are a particular kind of anchovies (local Italian: alici) from Cetara, and the colorful handmade ceramics from Vietri. Inspired by my travel through the picture perfect turquoise blue coast of Amalfi, Italy. Famous for the perfumed lemons, mouth-watering oregano and chillies, hand-painted ceramics, stunning architecture and more. One cannot walk through the cobbled lanes of Sorrento or Positano and not be inspired. The visual treat is one in a lifetime kind of experience!
