Dresses that spark joy

When I KonMari-ed my home late last year (and again last weekend), I was introduced to the idea of surrounding yourself with items that "spark joy" and used that as a barometer in deciding what to keep. But the same applies to adding pieces to your wardrobe. I don't wear this dress often—it's difficult to style and requires a half-slip—but it sparks joy every time I see it in my closet, and each time I wear it I'm flooded with compliments.
