3 Summery Asymmetric Blouses That Elevate Casual Outfits

Casual tees worn with jeans and shorts are great for every day, and a cute fitted jacket can make your summer outfit a whole lot dressier. But what do you wear when you want to look great in something that’s in between?

I like to reach for a pretty asymmetrical blouse. Here are three of the latest that are worth a second look!

Angelic Asymmetrical

Asymmetrical blouses with their off-kilter cut have been popular the last few years because they’re loose, comfy, and artsier-looking than a regular top. And with so many 40+ women wanting to dress creatively, this type of blouse fits the bill. I love the billowing statement sleeves, which are flowy and feminine, and give this outfit an angelic look.

The graceful crossover high/low hem is another pretty detail that kicks this blouse up a notch to create a stand-out piece. Love the knot handle bag too.

Asymmetrical Tank is a Work of Art

Don’t you love the look of this earthy asymmetrical tank that jets down one side to a perfect point?  This stunning print reminds me of a piece of art. To finish the look, I’ve combined the top and shorts with this chic orange bag. Sleek, cushiony rope slides and modern gold textured earrings add a modern touch.

High Low Heaven

Draping and ruching are a girl’s best friends because they do wonders to hide a tummy. Just take a look at this pretty pink top that carefully camouflages a midlife middle. A high low hem covers your bottom but keeps you looking youthful in the front. I’ve paired this top with a fabulous Printed Bag, woven hoop earrings, and buttery soft slides for a feminine, casual summer look.

Do you wear Printed blouses, and if you do, how do you style them. Leave me a comment and let me know!

3 Cute Summer Outfit Ideas with Washed Denim

Summer wouldn’t be summer without a cute washed denim outfit. Denim say sporty and fun and add energy to any basics. Here are three cute summer outfit ideas that start with washed denim.

Striped Long Sleeve Top and Shorts

If you thought there was nothing new with stripes, take a look at this pretty top. Tone-on-tone pink stripes give this long-sleeved tee a soft, feminine twist. Pink always looks gorgeous, teamed with white, and these jean Bermuda shorts all the rage. Finish the look with woven sandal, a classy crossbody bag, and some aviator sunnies, and you have a fresh and fabulous summer look.

Striped Maxi

Striped maxi dresses are always popular in summer because they can take you from the beach to shopping for dinner. What I really love about this one is this gorgeous blue color which kicks it up a notch and makes it stand out from the crowd. Accessories are important when it comes to creating a total look versus just wearing a new dress. White sandals, a white tote, a white beaded earring, and this fabulous white hat enhance the blue and give this outfit a seaside feel.

Striped Tank and Shorts

Red, white and blue is one of my favorite combinations in summer and perfect, with July 4th coming up fast. This versatile tank looks great with shorts or jeans and is long enough that you can ace a cool front tuck. I love the fit of this tank. It’s not tight and stretchy where it’s showing off every lump and bump, but it’s not baggy either—just the perfect amount of breathing room and a great casual look.
