10 Looks for Stylish Quarantine Staycation
I don't know about you but I've made it through a few weeks of self quarantine, sheltering in place, social distancing, or whatever you want to call it, and I could definitely use a little sunshine, color and rainbows! This is especially true due to the fact that the last few weeks have been somewhat cool, rainy and overcast and now beautiful and summery.
Everyday I have worn everything from workout leggings to kimonos, to loose kaftans, maxi dresses, Pjs, t-shirts and more. What I already knew and was reinforced also was what I wore kind of decided how I felt all day.
If like me you too are bored of being in PJs all day during these uncertain times of Corona virus induced social distancing and self quarantine then read on.
After a few days of dressing in loose pjs I decided I was going to make some changes and pulled out all my vacation summer dresses. I decided If I was going to stay home I will make it into a staycation with tropical vibes.
I have picked a list of few looks that will make you feel like a "Staycation Goddess" without compromising your comfort. Trust me I have tried and tested them all.
.
First things first, what is a staycation?
"A staycation is a vacation spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions."
Of course there will be no day trips to local attractions during this time.
Kimonos and kaftans have been super stylish and fashionable for time immemorial, thanks to many Hollywood actresses. I mean why should all the vacation dresses you own or are currently lusting over not be worn. Make your own home vacation by dressing the part and cooking the part and enjoying the home vacation with your family minus all the packing and unpacking.
.
Just throw on a super loose, casual Kimono in bright colors and relax in style.

Some of our gorgeous staycation picks don't need any traveling.
This might seem like an obvious one, but you’re never truly in vacation mode until you have a beach day. But how do we bring the beachy feels without the obvious beach, sun, sand and sea. Well, these days simply putting on a beach movie on TV and wearing your bikini, pretending you are on the beach might work. With beachy cocktails or mock-tails, Hawaiian music and some fresh pineapple and watermelon salad will work great as well.
Many women have started living in stretchy leggings, or active wear that is comfortable, looks good yet is easy to move around or lounge in at the same time. Our gorgeous take on active wear are scuba pants, They are stretchy, beautiful and easy to relax in without loosing there shape. So they look good doing what makes you feel good.
Floral Kimono for all events, occasions, lounging, feeling good and relaxing without compromising on style. Floral vacation kimono give me life and adds so much fun and style to my day.
Smooth silky satin boho dresses that make for a stylish look to enjoy your home-vacation.
Pink, Purple and blue patchwork cat print kimono for all cat lovers.
Loose loungy cotton maxi, that is beautiful yet easy to be in.
One of my favorite looks, makes me feel beautiful without doing anything else. A pink cotton silk kimono is everything.
Luckily, the week before we hunkered down, I was able wear my new favorite Striped Maxi dress out and about and photograph it with my favorite blue wall. This dress would look stunning anywhere but I feel like it was destined to be photographed with a blue wall for a "dressed to match" moment!
Madras checkered cotton maxi, comfortable and luxurious and fun. Also you can eat all and more and still look pretty in it.
While this dress, is a little bit of a splurge, I feel like it is worth it for a few reasons. First and foremost, it's perfect for me with the beautiful floral print! It's also a dress that I can see getting a lot of use out of in the future. Last of all, if you're not already sold on it, the dress is made with french finishes by artisans, which is something that I've always liked to support if possible, even if I end up paying a little extra. Now, more than ever, it's a great time to support small businesses and companies here. I think I've definitely been doing my part to stimulate the economy during this time, although maybe a little too much!
