If not, and if this is one show that you like to watch, go watch it- it's Project Runway Season 13, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn and Nina Garcia, and Michael Kors and Zac Posen show. So I was on that show if you watched it. And we are going to gift wrap some gifts for holiday season.
Holiday Gift Wrapping
I'm going to do a neat packing of my own box. So this is one of my order box. And when a gift wrap this put in a greeting cards, I'm going to show you a really neat way where you can make a pocket in the packaging for your greeting cards. And another one you know if you like delicate lace, or which is one of my favorite things to do. You could you know another gift wrapping of that. So let me go live on Facebook as well. Give me two minutes. And then let's say go live now.

Okay, let's go live. So thank you for reaching Oh, by you wait, you need a pair of scissors. Of course, a gift to wrap some tape. double sided tape would be good. I just have a regular transparent tape right here. Some gift wrapping paper, you know, whatever you like whatever the occasion calls for some decorations if you want to make it easy for yourself. And here is some time ribbon to tie on your gift. And another gift to wrap I have some doilies. So if you want to do the least wrapping thing. These are called doilies if you are you know if you can get any kind of laser cut Lacy paper or even least fabric that works well too. And some tissue paper and more wrapping paper. So let's hmm I don't know what's happening on FB again. Let me just give me one second. Yep. So let's start this. So I've got my box and scissors I've got cut my wrapping paper to the size of my box is a little bigger than my box, which you can, you know, decide, of course, the first few times you're going to waste a bit of paper. But eventually it's you're gonna figure out the best way. And again, I'm not you know, I'm not a pro gift rapper, I do a decent job and I really enjoy doing it. So you don't have to be a professional gift wrapper, or even be really good at it. This is super basic stuff. So you know, I would say I'm pretty beginner at gift wrapping. So if you're a beginner or if you're clueless about gift wrapping, this video is going to really really help you just two super easy ways to gift wrap your Christmas presents, they are going to look amazing, and your family and friends are going to be so happy to get their gifts. The packaging is going to really really excite them. Hi everybody Drop in your comments. You know if you have any questions, I would love to answer them. So let's do this. I've got my wrapping paper right here and I'm just gonna fold it in half Just find the middle. So I'm doing the first gift wrapping for this box. It's my own packaging gift that I have to send out. And I'm going to include a greeting card. So I'm making a little pocket to make it the, to put the greeting card for you look really pretty, you could do it for your birthday gifts, or you know, anything for that matter. So here, I'm just folding it in center. Right, and just making a little pocket right here. Just make sure it's parallel on both sides. I'm gonna try and fit in my greeting card and see if it fits. Um, yeah, it fits, it looks pretty. Let's do this. So this is done. So I have this little crease in my paper, that's a pocket that's gonna carry my greeting card. So I'm gonna just turn it around, put it flat here and then put my box
right in center.
So what you can do, you can figure out how what how much stuff you want to put in in your pocket. And then decide how deep you want your pocket to be, or which way you want your pocket to go. So if you can see that we bring the phone close. So if you can see, this is how it looks, you know there are creases right here for the pocket. And that's where I am about said I'm not gonna take the box, so you know, the box is reusable. So I wanted to be you know, left as is. And here I go. And that's about it. Then I I tape it everywhere. I turn it around, of course, you know the pocket is some bit of extra space. Let me show you. So the pocket is right here. And once it's all wrapped up, you can put your greeting card like this, and you know it's gonna look really pretty. And you can you can put in a gift card or whatever you like with the gift. So it's completely up to you. Let me do this while you're waiting for someone to tape it up properly. Okay.
I love you too. I think it's most of the times it's like stress in the rain.
So I'm just gonna take my tape. You can use double sided tape if you want to make it look, you know more nicer, neater and cleaner. double sided tape is the way to go.
Here I go.
Yep, that's that. I have some extra stuff here. And then I'm just gonna do my foreigners. So if your corners are bigger, you can use some other neat tricks to let me just put some double sided tape here.
One second. Let
me just I suck it. Okay, there was some issues. Hi. Oh my gosh, you guys are amazing. Hi. Thank you for joining me. So let's do this. Some. So if you don't have double sided tape, you can just take your regular tape and stick it on its own. And it becomes a nice double sided tape so you know, a cool easy tip pack so that you don't have to go buy more stuff. So that's my pocket if you can see and I can put my greeting card right in here. Isn't that cool? Isn't that pretty? So that being the that's done now, I have my corners right here. And if you have bigger corners let me just see what's happening with Facebook life. FB live always gives me a hard time I don't know why. I have no idea. I'm still trying Instagram Live is super easy for me. Okay. So And if you guys are joining me on facebook again, I'm trying to figure out a way so I've got my corners here and I'm gonna just cut them to me make the paper more manageable
Can you see this? Super super easy? Again I am not approve your rapper so you know if you are not a pro gift rapper This video is perfect for you.
Here we go. We go. So the sides Alton. It looks cute. It looks really good. Let me get my tape.
Okay. And guys, I'm wearing top from my latest collection and it's putting me in Christmas feels I feel so Christmassy thanks to the stop. It's nice red and pink. You know, beautiful cotton tops. So if you're looking to get some Christmas feels, this is the way to go. So again, I've got my one side gun, one sides done. Now the other side, I can do it the same way. Or you could make it like a little bag if you want. You know, there are so many options. Sometimes when I have more access of paper, and I don't feel like carrying it. I just make it into a cute bag. So it's easy to you know, use. So right here, I'm just gonna fold it. Okay, can you see that? Yep. Just like that. Let me Fold the corners. So anyone can do this, you don't have to be a professional packing person. And just David use double sided tape if you want. And wila it's ready. Oh my god, I can't even fit it in the camera. You see that. And it's got a nice pocket. So if you can put your greeting cards in here, you can put your gift cards anything, and we can make I'm planning to make it prettier. I've got these really pretty bows. So I'm gonna attach one here. You can also make a bow yourself. They're not super hard to make. But if you know if not, then just buy one from the market I'm trying to here. Let me just tape it up. So you can also tape these bowls up if the adhesive is not working. Just take your tape, double stick it on itself and put it down here. And that's it. See, and I got these this really, really pretty bored and you know these are reusable things you can put it on your gifts and then you can use it in your garden or wherever. This is your Christmas gift right here with your greeting card. See that? how cute this is. Of course I can add more to it and oops, the greeting card is falling. Basically I had to make the pocket deeper. Let me put it in again. You can tape it up if needed. Let's put some trash here. Let's Let's do this. Okay, back again. So let me show this to you. This right here is your gift wrapping with a pocket with a greeting card. One done one more to go. I'm gonna put this on the side. Let's start with the next one. I'm going to give trap Hi Hello I'm going to give trapped this one and I'm going to do it with a tissue paper and you know have a little lace detail on it. So if you love lace, this is the way to go. So I've got this I've got my tissue paper handy. I'm just gonna take double sided because you know single tissue paper is super Super fragile. So here we go. Yep. And then I. So how we do this, I'm gonna wrap it in the tissue first and then put the lace detail up top. lace detail up top, and then just tie the list things so that it looks really nice. So I've got this
Can you see it, so I've just put one tape. Again, you can put some double sided tape, if you want your gifts to look more polished, completely up to you. So I know there are some amazing Packers out there who do amazing, amazing job of doing the corners, right. But this is not about being professional, it's about getting it done beautifully, and enjoying it and not stressing about getting it right. I'm a perfectionist, don't get me wrong, I'm a perfectionist, but you know, you can be good at everything. So I, I give myself, you know, that freedom to make a mess. You know, do it wrong sometimes. Because the important point is to enjoy what you're doing. And holidays are all about having fun. So with all the Christmas shopping, I know it gets super stressful. And we don't have to make gift wrapping stressful, honestly. So I just quickly wrap this wireless book to you. It's a little transparent, you can see the colors, but that does not matter. We just we're gonna put our lease detail. Now you can put the lace detail any way you like, you want to put it like this, you know, just put it in the center. Can you see that? Or if you want to cover it up, so I'm just gonna do it like this, I'm gonna cover half of it. You can also crush your tissue paper and do it and it's gonna look so much more prettier. Some just so easy way to do it. I'm just gonna put my doily, I'm gonna put my gift on top. Tape one side.
See my chair. So see if one side like that. So just making it easy. taping the other side. And these doilies are pretty delicate. So you can choose if you want to kind of use a few instead of just using one.
And then just going like that. Let me show you what it looks like on the other side. Isn't that huge. And then you know, I can just tie it up with a nice Christmas ribbon.
Let's see.
So you can get any ribbon you like I just I like some glitter always. Specially for holiday seasons, I'm going to use two different colors. You can use all the four colors if you like. Let's do that. Let's, let's get a little excited and go Ott with all the colors. I love going overboard. I mean it's Christmas. Just have fun with it. So let's get all the colors. I'm going to just make sure they're on the same length. Yep. Got it. Carrot, carrot, carrot.
Okay, here it is. So we're gonna, I'm just gonna take all four of them together. Everything's falling down today. And then I've got my scissors right here. And I'm going to start with the right side. And just gonna start right here where my leases go back and then twist it and that's about it. You see it? Okay, yep, we've got it. gonna cut my strings. I used all the four colors, and I'll show you how pretty this looks. Again, this is the first time literally that I'm doing this with you guys. So you don't have to be a professional Packers. It could be they're super easy things you you know a grandmom could do it. A teenager could do it. A dog Go do it. So just like that. Okay, let me show this to you. I'm gonna finish the packing. You see how cute that looks. It puts Christmassy in Christmas.
Let's do this.
Making it Work as Tim would say. Make it work. Okay. And then what we can do is we can kind of make this all smaller and make it look like a decoration. Can you see how easy that was? Super duper easy if you want you can add a bow right here.
So these are ready made bows. tissue papers are extremely cheap and they make for most amazing gift wrappers, their matte color, they look super classy super chic. Here, oh my god, and then a Christmas gift. Let me know your questions. I would love to answer any questions you may have. Just drop your email down here and let me know if you want to see me back. You know, I used to love packing our toffee style like candy style gift wrapping. So if that's something you want to see, drop me a message and I'll do a video soon.
